Cable installed, inspection passed :)
Sunpower Electric just installed the cable and moments later the City of Long Beach, CA inspector signed off on everything. Last step will be for Edison to return to install the second meter inside the previously installed housing. See earlier post for photos. For those wondering about the cable length ours is 24' 9" measured from the bottom of the charging box to the very end of the cable plug.

Todd, do you happen to have a picture of what the Edison housing looks like installed? I know you don't have the meter installed yet, but I was curious to see what it looks like.
ReplyDeleteWow, it's been nearly a month since you had the wall box installed!

Hi Stan, I'll take a picture of current housing and post soon.
ReplyDeleteHey Todd & Kari,
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun way to go green! I was just talking to a doctor/friend the other day who had driven his college aged daughter's Mini Cooper to work and he was raving about it. Granted, it wasn't the electric verion, but he was like a little kid about the punch it has. Will the electric mini have good pick up also? As Kermit says, "It's not easy being green....," but it might be a whole lot of fun! Kathy
The zero to 60 performance is actually better than a regular mini. :) March 14 posting has video of Jay Leno driving the Mini E.
